Have any of you ever seen an error like this in IIS before.
And before you say this isn't the IIS forum, hear me out.

The server is running IIS 5.

Here is our cryptic error message:

Out of process application '/LM/W3SVC/5/Root' terminated unexpectedly.
For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.

--- and of course there is nothing like this in the msdn...

Whatever is causing this problem is being caused by either asp or a com object. We have a new server which we are busy moving to, we setup the web apps on it, and found the same thing happening again, which obviously means that something in that web app (our code/our com/ or external com) is causing it.

The site's application protection - is set to high (isolated) which may make sense of the fact that when the application dies, it is viewed as an out of process application. None of the components used on the server are out of proc - they are all in proc dll's.

3rd party coms in use are:
ASPHTTP
ASPEmail
ASPEasyUpload
AS PEXEC

Has anyone seen this before/got ANY ideas!!!

Pleaseee help!
