Default Reserved Words?

I&#039m having a problem with my queries and its leading me to believe that I am either using a reserved work or for some I may have overlooked a different error. This is the query I try to perform:
"SELECT * FROM ENTRIES WHERE ID="& request("jobID")
and this is the error I get:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Line 1: Incorrect syntax near &#039=&#039.

If anyone has some suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Kris
