    Default Replace function

I have form object text area and I copy and paste text to this text area and the save text to the database. Text have to be in html-form in the database. I can use replace function to replace line breaks -&#062; text = Replace(text, vbCrLf, "<BR>") but how I could replace bold or italic texts? The text area not even show bold or italic texts... thank you for answers

Default /tha is because that type of formatting....

Isn&#039;t supported. The only way that I can think of do do something like that, would be to instruct the users to enter a key...for instance (bold) and (/bold) for bold text et catera....<BR>Then you could do a replace on those keys as well....
