What I recommend you do is store the link to your image in the datsbase. Then you simply insert this link from your table into your dynamically created ASP page to display the image you want.

Toss

Say you want the following to appear in your HTML page:

Well then in your database you could store in a text field - /images/presents.gif

This can be pulled from the table and inserted into your ASP code:

<img src<%=RS("ImageLink")" border=0 alt="4GuysFromRolla.com!!" width=184 height=14>

Hope that helps,
Ross
Ok.. thanks.. will try it out. so do i use the same command to display the image as to displaying data? or will <img src<%=RS("ImageLink")" border=0 alt="4GuysFromRolla.com!!" width=184 height=14> automaticaly retrieve the image from my database?

but before that... say i have an image abc.jpg Where do i save that image? do i out it in the directory or do i have to put it in html and save it as an html file?

You put the images in the folder that the link in your database says they are in. Save them in the format that the link sayd they are e.g. gif/jpeg. Obviously, you will have to query the database with SQL to get the link to the images that you want to use.

Ross
