    Default Performance tuning ASP

I&#039m coding Business to Consumer sites using site server. The final page where the purchase is made loads very slowly.<BR>Since this is a page with a lot of queries, i&#039ve changed all the inserts, updates and complex select statements to stored procedures but this has not made significant improvement in speed. any other speed tips??

a MS article suggested that -- while in development -- you cut the page in half and do the run then to find out where the massive delay is, then keep cropping back by half (of the slow side) until you find the really offensive line.<BR><BR>Of course, SSL will take a longer response time anyway, as it needs to crypt/decrypt. There should be a way to sidebar that process, but I don&#039t have experience there.
