Default query string in Netscape

when i am passing a new page with a querystring in href, the same is working in IE, but not in Netscape. when seeing in Netscape, in the URL, the querystring part is displayed as pure text. e.g.
In IE it comes like this and it works:
http://ntserver/golfsys/asp_bin/events/EventsDetails.asp?txtEvent=Golf%20Tournament%20At% 20EastWood

in Netscape it comes like this:
http://ntserver/golfsys/asp_bin/events/EventsDetails.asp?txtEvent=Golf Tournament At EastWood

it gives the error in Netscape.

Any solution for this problem please update.
When you are using asp to interactively create the querystring, you need to use the Server.URLEncode method, eg:

<a href="go.asp?code=<%=Server.URLEncode(MyVar)% >">Link</a>

IE seems to do this automatically, but if you want to be compatable with NS you need to encode.
