Default Oracle Error

I am attempting to retrieve data from an Oracle database. I am modifying code that I have successfully used with Access. I seem to be making a successful connection to the Oracle database, but I am getting an error when running my SQL statement. This is the code:

set oConn = server.CreateObject("adodb.connection")

oCo nn.ConnectionString = "Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;User ID=fldb;Password=fldb; Data;"

oConn.Open
set oRS = server.createobject("ADODB.recordset")

oRS. open "select * from Users where Username = '" & (Request.Form("username")) & "';", oConn

The last line ( is returning this error:
OraOLEDB error '80040e14'

ORA-00911: invalid character

/fldb/fldb_login.asp, line 93

I'm very new to Oracle. Anyone have experience with this error?

Thank you,
Mike

Default Oracle doesn't need the semicolon... the end of the query.
