    Default textarea message display

    how can I put text entered in a textarea box in the rigth format?<BR><BR>I use ths function to accomplish this<BR><BR>String = Replace(String, CHR(13),"&#060;p>")<BR><BR>But when displayed, I get a line-feed after a return!!<BR>How can I do this?<BR>Thanks!

    try using <BR> instead of &#060;p> <BR><BR>hope that helps<BR><BR>Pete

    Oh, it did the command rather then display it, mind you I suppose it had too or else this text would not be displays properly!<BR><BR>Any way the command you want is the break line tag, how to write it here is the question? Well its basically br inside &#060;>. I can&#039t write it or else it will just display it! Anyway, there is no need for a closing tag.<BR><BR>Hope that helps this time :)<BR><BR>Pete
