Default Formatting a link as a link

I got a database that contains text, within the text there are links like, but when I query it from the database and display it in ASP it's showed as plaintext.

How can I let it appear as a "real" link?
Thanks.

    Henk,

Look into using a regular expression on the text you get from the database.

Basically you need to change "" into "<a href=';>;/a>".

I'm not sure on the syntax using VBScript though. I've only ever used regular expressions in Perl and JavaScript...

If you search for "http:" and then take everything between there and a space, and then place it into the link correctly then it should work.

Sorry it's a bit vague.

Craig.

    Let's say your DB-fields calls rsLink("URL").

Then use this code :
<a href="<%=rslink("URL")%>"><%=r sLink("URL")%></a>

Hopes it helps you out.
