An outside source sends us an access db that we will stuff into SQL Server, massaging it using DTS and ASP.

However, Mr. Source fails to give the Admin user in the db permission to read the tables, which means the DTS (and any other attempt to read the database, such as with perl) fails until I open the database with Access and manually give the Admin user permissions.

I can probably get Mr. Source to give the tables the proper permissions before he sends us the file, however, when Mr. Source is on vacation, all bets are off.

Anybody got an idea how to get around this permissions issue? I'm looking for a way to check/change the permissions with code from ASP or any other way.

Thanks
