Hi,

I currently have an asp site on our server using IIS 5.0
When the user looks at the site in Internet Explorer it requires them to log-in using the NT login box. The user must be part of the active directory users to gain access.

Now, when a person from the internal network of the company loads the webpage it brings up the page 'You are not authorized to view this page', error HTTP 401.2 Login failure due to server configuration.

Users with Win2k Pro workstations receive this error, but users with Win 9x systems don't.

Win 9x systems can view the password box and can gain access afterwards.

In IIS 5.0 I have set the security options for the directory as Integrated Windows Authetication.

I have looked in Internet Explorers settings and have configured it to always prompt for a username and password, but it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Kindest Regards,

Robert Hedley
