I am having trouble converting info I have in Access to SQL 7.
The proble I am having is that I have data stored as a Date/time field in access that is dipslayed to the user via a dropdown as dd/mm/yyyy. This is passed to another asp page, which processes the date as dd/mm/yyyy. BUT ...
Is sql server when I convert the date field to a date/time field I get m/dd/yy, or mm/dd/yy depending on if the month is 1-9. When I display this in the dropdown though it is displayed as dd/mm/yy, this obviously causes problems when passing the result to other pages.
Have other people come across the before, can I force SQL to display in a certain manner ? The only thing I can think of is to convert the Date fields to Nchar(10), does anyone know of any reason why this is bad ??

Any help would be apprecaited.
