I did that but it still doesn't work. I also stopped and started the default website... and even added a blank line to the Global.asa and saved it but still not luck?
You're always good with advice on here (you've saved me a couple of times) I just wanted to quickly tell you that...
Actually i had experience with working with a ISAPI security dll, that is part of the Search Engine i was using.Sometimes
i used to get this problem, when someone removed a reference
to that filter dll under the default website's properties.
If its' from a 3rd party see for the docs.
actually when u click the Def.web-->Isapi-->ADD button it is asking u the physical path of the filter dll.when u type the path
it's name will be added there.this is what i'm speaking about.here u r making only a reference to the physical isapi filter dll which is residing somewhere in ur harddisk.even if u delete it here u only delete its reference and not the physical filter dll.

hope u understood now
Now I understand. I'm really the only one that manages the websites...and the references to the isapi filter exist... However...! When I look in the registry...HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESSYSTEMCURRENTCONTROL SETW3SVCPARAMETERS Registry entry. There are no filter DLLs there. Should there be?
