Default Javascripts loses my Session variables

    I have a frameset with a left navigation frame and a large content frame. In the navigation frame there is a form with a dropdown box that has 3 city names. That form on that page submits to itself (i.e. action="navframe.asp") and sets a Session Variable. However I want to automatically reload the main content frame to recognize the changes made from selecting a different city. I can get it to do both of these thing separately, but when I do them both at the same time I "lose" my Session Variable (it becomes equal to ""). Is that by design or shouldn't I be able to keep Session Variables across frames?

<%
Session("location")=requ est.form("location")
response.write Session("location")
%>
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
function reload_rightframe(){
parent.frames['rightframe'].location.href="info.asp";
}
</SCRIPT>

    Default Nevermind. Found an MSDN about it.
