Default querystring?

    hello,
I have a string that contains the # sign (ex. str= #test).
I am trying to pass this string in a querystring and it is failing, I understand that # and % cannot be used? How can I convert that # character that is in my string, so I can pass it in a querystring successfully?? Thanks!!!

Default You encode it like this

    Page1.Asp does this:

<%
MyString = "The Quick Brown ### Jumped over the lazy %%%"
Response.Redirect("Page2.Asp?MyString=" & Server.UrlEncode(MyString))
%>

Page 2.Asp does this

<%
Response.Write "You passed " & Request.QueryString("MyString")
%>
