    Default MSINET.OCX

I want to use a script that utilizes the Internet Transfer Control. However, I cannot figure out how to register the MSINET.OCX file to work on a Win2K box. Initially, my script would get the error "Could not locate automation class InetCtls.Inet.1" when I try to use 'WScript.CreateObject("InetCtls.Inet.1")&#039 ;. If I get the file MSINET.OCX, place it in the WINNT/SYSTEM32 directory, and register it, my script gets the error "Class not licensed for use". What do I need to do to use this class and use it?

    Default MSINET.OCX problem resolved

I decided to scrap the Microsoft solution and use a third party FTP component, AspInet. It is free from, and utilizes Wininet.dll. Works great, although Server Objects provides no support since it is a free component.<BR><BR>Also, this component is strictly a server-side file transfer, which is all I needed for my solution.
