    Default SSL and DSN Problems

Has anyone ever had any problems with calling a dsn on a page that is in a secure area. For some reason when i try to access the database from the secure page I get the error message saying that 'Data source name not found and no default driver specified'. Does anyone know why this is and how to get around it.

You&#039;re saying that for some reason a DSN connection isn&#039;t working with SSL for you. Well one way around it would be to use a DSN-less connection which is supposedly faster anyway. And here is a relevant resource:<BR><BR>Connections<BR><BR>"This page contains sample ADO connection strings for ODBC DSN, ODBC DSN-Less, OLE DB Provider, and MS Remote. These sample connection strings are from the Microsoft ADO Newsgroups and are compiled by Carl Prothman, a Microsoft Visual Basic MVP."<BR><BR>Best regards,<BR>-Paul<BR><BR>J.
