Default onLoad NewWindow...

    How can I get the NewWindow(doPop-up) script to appear ONLY on the users initial visit? Here is the code:

<script LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--
closetime = 20;
function Start(URL, WIDTH, HEIGHT) {
windowprops = "left=0,top=0,width=" + WIDTH + ",height=" + HEIGHT;
preview =, "preview", windowprops);
if (closetime) setTimeout("preview.close();", closetime*1000);
}

function doPopup() {
url = "http://www...";
width = 300;
height = 210;
delay = 1;
timer = setTimeout("Start(url, width, height)", delay*1000);
}
//-->

Any help is appreciated

    Default How do you *KNOW*...

    ...that it is the user's INITIAL visit???

You have to *remember* that somehow, yes? Which means either using ASP to remember it in a DB or some such or using a cookie (and JavaScript coding) to remember it on the client's machine.
