It seems that whatever I do, I can't get a recordset from a Command.Execute call. I'm getting an error saying the returned recordset is closed when I try to read it.
This is the code I use:
set objCmd = Server.CreateObject("adodb.command")
set objPrm = objCmd.CreateParameter("Periods", adVarChar, adParamInput, len(Request.QueryString("period")), Request.QueryString("period"))
objCmd.CommandTe xt = "insert_into_Rep_Sup_Period1"
objCmd.ActiveConn ection = objConn
objCmd.Parameters.Append objPrm
objCmd.CommandType = adCmdStoredProc
objRS.Open objCmd

I also tried set objRS = objCmd.Execute, but it's the same.

The stored procedure runs ok, as it fills tables I need, and it does return rows on Query Analyzer. But still, no recordset is returned.
What am I doing wrong?
