(not that it probably matters but) What version of IIS /windows are you running?<BR><BR>Could you please write a simple buggy ASP page, in one of your Virtual directories ...such as..<BR><BR><%<BR>alert 2/0<BR>%><BR><BR>then run it - what happens?
In IIS 4.0 if there was an error it would give some hint as to what the error was and a line number in the vicinity that it was located.<BR><BR>IIS 5.0 just says "500 Script Error". And that's it! <BR><BR>Someone suggested in the webserver setup you can change it to display more info, but the box was already checked on my server. Start>Programs>Administrative Tool>Internet Services Manager. Then right click your web and select properties. Then go to the Home Directory tab, then click Configuration, then clik the App Debugging tab and make sure "Send detailed ASP error messages to client is checked". Like I said it was checked on mine and it doesn't seem to help.
