how can I make month = the current month

"SELECT * FROM names WHERE month = (the current month) AND site = 'people_find'"

the current month would be April

SELECT * FROM names
WHERE month = "& Month(NOW) &" AND site = 'people_find'"

or if by name i think you would '"& MONThName(Month(Now)) &"'
You could try:

GetMonth = DatePart("m", now)

this returns the month in a numeric format i.e. 1 = january, 2=february ...

This works with ASP and VBScript.

If the 'theCurrentMonth' is coming through in a variable then you can put it in the 'where' bit of the select statement like this....

where month = cdate('"& theCurrentMonth &"')

Hope it's useful....
