Default getting access is thorn in side...

I'm writing ASP pages that are pulling from an Access2000 db. Sometimes these pages work fine, other times, I get the message below. When I get the error message, I can usually fix the problem by closing and reopening IE or Access. But now even restarting the computer isn't doing the trick. Can anyone tell me what this means? (The line 30 citation is one in which I have a DSN=dsnname statement. I tried creating a new DSN, but that didn't do the trick.)...

"Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
/nchla/links/uplnks3-dothis.asp, line 30"
