I have built an asp form to populate a sql table and in that form is a date field [<input type="" name="in_date" value=<%=date()%>>] and this displays the date - problem occurs when I pass this value to my table. It is stored as 1/1/1900. So I thought I would work around this by just setting my in_date field to do this right in my sql insert statement. But how would I go about this? What's the syntax? Here's a sample of my current code:

sqlstmt1="INSERT INTO business_dev VALUES(" & request("in_date") & " , " & request("branch") &" , " & request("employee") &"

Also, I need to know the syntax for selecting only records posted within the last two weeks - something like "select * where in_date = current date - 2 weeks. Any ideas?

Any help would be appreciated!
