    is there any way to get asp to read next once it has read a record?<BR><BR>I have to display 6 records on my page but one of the records it at the top of the page and the others are at together at the bottom. I cannot just use repeat for all records because they are not together.

    Umm<BR><BR>I am guessing <BR><BR>but you have a recordset,<BR>you read the first record on top of the page<BR><BR>then at the bottom you want to do the rest?<BR><BR>correct or not?

    Lucky,<BR><BR>Okay,<BR><BR>take your recordset and use GetRows (articles at 4guysfromrolla and learnasp)<BR><BR>so no you have a 2d array.<BR><BR>then, response.write myarray(0,0) & "1st rec&#060; &#062;2nd red" <BR> & myarray(1,0) <BR><BR>then at the bottom wher you want the other recs<BR><BR>for i = 1 to UBound(myarray,2)<BR><BR> response.write myarray(0,i) <BR>next<BR>
