Default Response.redirect options

    I am familiar with using the response.redirect option, but it is only a viable option if used in a certain portion of ones code,..

apparantly the header area,..

here is my problem:

i have a little message board,.. once a person has submitted a new post, i do the usual,..

call a validation routine,.. if it passes, i insert the new post,.. etc.

what i want to do now,.. to avoid the possibility of a double post when some hits "refresh" is to redirect the person to the "entry" page of my message board,...

however, when i add the redirect snippet i get the following error,.. which i have come across before,..

---------------->

Response object error 'ASP 0156 : 80004005'

Header Error

/mwsummit/mboard.asp, line 364

The HTTP headers are already written to the client browser. Any HTTP header modifications must be made before writing page content.

---------------->
