    Default Cursor Type

    I was browsing this messageboard and I saw someone&#039s code where they have something like this..........<BR> cmdtemp, , 1, 3<BR><BR>My question is, what is 1,3 equivalent to. Are they cursor types Adopenstatic, Adopenforwardonly, etc.? If so, tell me which cursor type exactly the number 1 and 3 are equivalent to. Thanks again for your explanation

    The cursor type here is not set. <BR><BR> cmdtemp, , 1, 3<BR><BR>The cursor type would be set after cmdtemp, . Since it is not set the default cursor adOpenForwardOnly is used.<BR>the 1 is the locktype - 1 is adLockOptomistic<BR>the 3 is the type of query or table

    The best way I can think to find out what the numbers correspond to is to get a copy of These values are listed in there as constants.<BR><BR> is available here as well as elsewhere.<BR><BR>HTH<BR><BR>Jerry
