    Default overflow.

    I get the follwoign error when I execute a stroed procedure like following <BR>call objRS.Open(a_sSQL,MSCSSite.DefaultConnectionString ,adOpenStatic,adLockReadOnly,adCmdText)). <BR>What does that mean ?<BR><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039;80040e57&#039; <BR><BR>[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Arithmetic overflow error converting expression to data type int. <BR>

    Default RE: overflow.

    The integer datatype has a length of 4 bytes, and stores numbers from -2,147,483,648 through 2,147,483,647 with no decimals or fractions. Somewhere in the SQL statement you are executing, an integer field is being referenced using a non-integer number causing the overflow.<BR>I suggest response.writing the sql before executing it & comparing field types in the database. <BR><BR><BR>
