Just a quickie for you. I created a web using FrontPage and later added ASP functionality to it. The ASP&#039s ran, but global.asa wasn&#039t being fired. In IIS I know how to created the directory as an application, but how do you do this in PWS?
Thanks in advance!
John

This is the way I do it.

1. Click on the PWS icon in the control panel.
2. Go to the Administration Tab.
3. Click the Administration Button. This will load up IE at the Admin pages.
4. In IE, click on WWW Administraion.
5. Then the Directories Tab.
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the list that appears and click the Add link.
7. Select the directory you wish to create or make as a root directory.
8. Give it any rights you want to change. Then click OK.

You should now have a directory that you can use as a new application.

Or you can do it through FP. File &#124 New &#124 FrontPage Web follow the instructions from there.

Hope that helps

Pete
