Default Hyperlinks sent via email

    Hi,
I have a page which sends an email and includes in this email a hyperlink to another page with several query strings. The problem is that when the email arrives, the last few words of the query string are put on another line. It seems to fit around 74 characters on one line and then put anything else on the next line. The problem with that is that not all of the query strings are submitted when clicking on the link.

The line which creates the hyperlink for the email is this,

str=str & "http://thename.of.my.server.com/user/formauthorised.asp?txtid=" & id & "&approve=no" & "&by=" & request.querystring("submittedby")

When this arrives in the email it looks like this.

http://thename.of.my.server.com/user/formauthorised.asp?txtid=90&approve=no&b
y=joeb loggs

I'm not sure if the formatting of this page will reflect what actually happens but basically anything after the 'b' of 'by', roughly, is put on a new line and is not counted as part of the hyperlink.

If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful

Thanks

try putting a line break before the hyperlink to stop it wrapping (http://www.aspmessageboard.com/forum/asp.asp?M=193588&P=1&F=20). If the line is longer does it still wrap at a certain amount of characters or perhaps &b means something.

    Thanks for the info. I have tried a line break but it makes no difference.

Also, if the line is longer then it does wrap in a different place. The &b was just an example.
