Hi,
I have an 2000 Access database with fields relating to people information (surname, first name, phone number, business unit etc.

I want to allow the entries in the database to be updated. e.g John Yore's phone number changes. (sounds easy enough)

But the catch is, each person other than the administrator are only able to update their own entry in the database, and no other entry

I thought I could be able to do this by comparing their username against the primary key field in the database (which is their username at logon). A user logs-on to an IIS Server.

The database and ASP files would be on another server(Intranet) server. Does anyone have any suggestions?
