Default User + Password + Database

    Greetings,
We decided to change from NT Auth, to storing the username / password in a database. I wanted to find out what is the most secure way of handling this data. Would I want to use encryption for the password, or store it in the registry? If anyone has idea, and or an example of doing this please let me know.

thanks,
blanks
