    Hello<BR><BR>I was using PWS on Win98 and everything was running OK. I recently upgrade to Win2000 using IIS5 on IE 5.5, I get this message when I try to process an add reguest.<BR><BR>Error Type:<BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)<BR>[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.<BR><BR>This is using SQL statements to insert new data in the table.<BR>If anyone knows what this error is please response?<BR><BR>Thank You<BR>Tri

    yes, your database folder does not have read/write permissions. you&#039;re using an access database. the folder it&#039;s in needs to have read/write permissions for IUSR_&#060;machineName&#062; - Access uses File-Based Locking, which means if it can&#039;t write the locking file, it can&#039;t update the DB<BR><BR>j
