    Default Browser Component

    I was working with the browser component, the code is<BR><BR>&#060;%<BR>Set BrowObj = server.CreateObject("MSWC.BrowserType")<BR>Respons e.Write BrowObj.Browser<BR><BR>&#039;for each i in Request.ServerVariables<BR> &#039;Response.Write i & " :" & Request.ServerVariables(i) & "<BR>"<BR>&#039;next<BR>%&#062;<BR> when i run this code on an IE it return "Netscape" as a result and when i run in Netscape returns "Default", whz wrong with the code, i&#039;m doing as said in the book, should i change some settings.

    One possibly solution: check the date of your BROWSCAP.INI file. The browser capabilities component uses this file to match browser version strings and break them down into browser, version, capapabilities etc. If you&#039;re using a browser without an explicit definition in BROWSCAP.INI, it won&#039;t be identified correctly. I forget where it lives; search your windows directory.<BR><BR>you can download a recent one from cyscape --<BR>
