Script can also be client-side as well, and older browsers cannot use client-side scripting. But I only used the point of ASP to illustrate my point. Just because newer versions of browsers can't do certain things doesn't mean we automatically dismiss them.
The only scripts that are processed client side are those that are directly called within a <script language="@VBScript"></script> tag. <BR><BR>You specified ASP scripts not VBScripts in your post and those are processed Server-side and they will work with older browsers.<BR><BR>With regards to CSS, I only mentioned the fact that it won't work with older browsers since you cannot assume that all people who will access your site will have newer browsers unless it is for a local intranet and everyone uses the same thing.<BR><BR>I never dismissed the fact the style tag won't work...it just won't work with older browsers.
