When you type in http://mypc/test , the default.asp will be called under this case.
In the your Virtual directory&#039s properties, you have &#039Enable Default Documents&#039 with default.asp as the first page.

Check this out and let me know what happens
I have Default.asp and Default.htm both as default documents but my first page in the list is default.htm which is correctly called if i type only the site name.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.

I am aware of the Enable Default Document setting. But does this mean that i cannot use the default.asp as the starting page, but have to use default.htm instead?

and in the .htm i redirect to the .asp page?

Thanks for your advice.

Vincent
