Default hard returns in asp.

    this is a real dumb question but for the life of me i cant find it anywhere in any books. How do i use hard returns (line breaks) in my source. I have some huge *** vars and currently i have to write the entire var on the same line so 15 lines of code looks more like a paragraph out of a book (very frustrating).

So if i have a line like this:
<%
var="blahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHb lahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHbla hBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAH"
%>
I want it to look like this
<%
var="blahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAH blahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAH
blahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAH
blahBLAHblahBLAHblahBLAH"
%>

w hen i try this i get the usual error about not knowing what im doing.

LEO
