Default Need Help About LCID Setting

I litte bit confused about LCID setting,
I used LCID = 1033 ( united states format) and it should be display with format M/d/yyyy and time with h:mm:ss:tt
example for March 30, 2001 display with LCID = 1033 ( 3/30/2001 11:28:11 AM )
my asp page just like this:
<%@LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" LCID=1037%>
<% txtDate = now()
response.write "Date : " & txtDate %>

the output is always : 30/03/2001 11:28:11 (Indonesian Format)

and when i changed to another LCID format , the output is always the same : 30/03/2001 11:28:11 not 3/30/2001 11:28:11 AM

Why this happened ? and what the solution for this problem ?

thanks for your help.....
Default Wow! You found a bug!

    A BUG!

I am using Win98 and PWS, and *INDEED* doing

<%@ LCID=2057 %>

(UK English, I don't have 1037 on my machine) does *NOT* change the setting from USEnglish!

The *really* strange thing is that doing

<%
Response.Write Session.LCID
%>

*does* report that it is set to 2057.

***HOWEVER***

There's an easy fix!

<%
Session.LCID = 1037
...
%>

should work for you!

This is something that *used* to work on IIS 4.0, so I don't know if it's a bug in PWS and/or if the bug appears in IIS 5.0, as well.

Anyway, try the <% Session.LCID = xxxx %> and see if that doesn't fix you up!

Thanks for finding this!

I tried to use session.lcid = 1033 like you said
but it didn't change anything

the output is always dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss exp. 31/03/2001
not mm/dd/yyyy exp. 03/31/2001

but when i diplayed
<%
response.write "LCID : " & session.lcid
...
%>
the output is correct , it displayed LCID : 1033

and i used IIS 5.0 for doing this

Do you have another solution for this???

thanks for help,
