    Default max records for access97

Just wondering if anyone knew how many records Access97 can handle before it starts falling over, and is it per table or per database, ie when should i switch from Access to SQL?<BR><BR>Thanks in advance<BR>kevin

In my opinion, you should switch to SQL Server when you exceed 10 concurrent users ... or if the database is larger than 20 MBs ... or if you have the luxury of doing so in your project&#039s budget. SQL to me is a first option for any data management ... Access is a solution only when the situation cannot afford SQL Server.
