Could you rephrase the question?<BR><BR>A text area field can be saved like any other. Just make sure your request.form("FIELDNAME") statement has the same FIELDNAME spelling as it is in the NAME="FIELDNAME" part of the form. <BR><BR>And a TEXT field, despite what the other fellow said, is capable of holding a vast amount of info in SQL. That is what I use for lengthy text input areas.
Like Doug said....In Access, a text field can only hold a maximum of 255 characters. Whereas, a memo field, as he also mentioned, can hold up to a theoretical maximum of 65,536 characters. <BR>IMO...I think that he was on the right track.
