    Default record selection

Can I display a Dynaset in a table with an added checkbox at the end of each row, let the user select the row they want to work with and then only pass that row to the detail form for updating?

You could put a checkbox on each row a give it a value of the id for that record. The trouble is, how would you stop them from checking more than one row ?<BR><BR>Why not just make the first column in each row a hyperlink to your detail page and pass the id to be edited in the querystring ?

They have several options they can choose from. They can print the row, they can query detail, update detail, etc. These options are buttons on the bottom of the form. And "How do you stop them from selecting more then one?".... I was hoping you could tell me. I was thinking onclick run a script that would turn off all boxes except the last clicked but I don&#039;t know if I can do that.
