Default Apostrophe in Queries

    I looked at the FAQ
http://www.aspfaqs.com/aspfaqs/ShowFAQ.asp?FAQID=27

and see how to set up the script to change input from a form that contains double (") with a single (') but is there any way to actually put in the double marks (")?

The form input I am trying to create will occasionally have dimensions in it so change 3" to 3' changes the dimensions of something from 3 inches to 3 feet.

    Default You misread that COMPLETELY...

You do NOT need to or want to change a quote " character to an apostrophe! Just leave all " marks alone!

Read that FAQ again: The problem is with ' marks that are in your data. And you must double them up IN ORDER TO END UP WITH ONLY ONE IN THE FINAL DATA.

Read the FAQ again...do not read into it what is not there.
