    Default NT Authentication NTLMv2

How do you authenticate a user&#039;s NT domain username/password by script? I would like to create a form in which the user enters their NT DOMAIN, NT USERNAME and NT PASSWORD. I can use ADSI to determine if nt-domainusername exists and belongs to a group, only I don&#039;t know how to check the password against the domain controller. Any ideas? I&#039;m hoping this could be done either with ASP or a server component (VB).<BR><BR>Many thanks!<BR>-Elsa

This may be possible (although I doubt it) but would present a security flaw that any tester doing an A&P test would pick up and use to infiltrate your system.....if this is an issue. Passing NT passwords around using HTTP is not a good idea.
