Could someone suggest a better way of deleting a record?

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039 80040e14&#039

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression &#039Email

/jobboard/manager/delete.asp, line 90

This is line 90: rs.Open sqlstring, Conn, 3, 3

Thanks.

<%
Set Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Connstring = "DSN=JobBoard"
Conn.Open(Connstring)

Set rs = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
sqlstrin g = "DELETE FROM MailingList WHERE Email =" & Request.Form("Email")
rs.Open sqlstring, Conn, 3, 3

rs.Close
conn.Close
%>
Try wrapping the e-mail address with &#039s

e.g.

... WHERE email = &#039" & emailvariable & "&#039 "

HTH

Jerry
