    Default linking using ASP

I have a menu on the Left hand side of the page, which when the user cliks opens like the folding windows menu. Now when the user cliks the link, is it possible to open the corresponding file on the RHS, with the menu on the LHS, which has since opened, remaining in the same position? I don't want to use frames.

If you're using javascript for your menu, then you'll need to figure out how to pass a variable to it to open to the area you want. Once you've done that, you can use a javascript onload to figure out the page (and pass that variable), or use ASP to write a varaible to the javascript code area of the page.

Do some research on cascading style sheets. It helps you to create pages like the one you posted about. Much better than frames in my opinion.
