Default RE: DSN question

    File DSN --> the contents are stored in a file.
System DSN --> the contents are stored in windows registry.
User DSN --> I don't know what this is.
DSN less connection --> Insterad of creating a DSN you use a connection string. This is a connection string which can be used for SQL:
cnstr = "Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Persist Security Info=False;Persist Security Info=False;User ID=sa;Pwd=;Initial Catalog=databasename;Data Source=machinename"
Just replace the databasename with the name of the database you want to access, and the machinename with the server name on which the database is.
Out of all this, DSN less connection is most efficient since the contents are stored in memory. Then comes teh System DSN and then the file DSN.
