Default margins: IE vs NS

    Why is it when I give my page a left margin of '75'pixels, Netscape won't support it and IE will?
<body topmargin="0" leftmargin="75">

thanks!

    Because that's not HTML. It's something Microsoft invented.

Netscape has it's own version: <body marginheight="0" marginwidth="75">

You can put both into the same body tag but you are better off using the CSS equivalent, since it is actually part of the standard and not proprietary code that only works in one browser.

<body style="margin-top:0px;margin-left:75px;">
