I allow a user to search my website without logging in unless they want to make a purchase. At that point, they are redirected to the login page. How do I redirect them back to the page they were viewing before being prompted to login?

Look in your Server Variables. It's possible to capture the user's previous URL, or where he came from to your login page. Store that in some way, either as a session, or pass it with forms, or even in the URL, and keep it there for as long as you need it. When authentication is over, use the variable to pass them back to where they left off.

You could also store either details this way, so if they filled out any forms or anything like that, your system will remember that. I am not sure about the server variable's name, but do an out put of all of them and you will see it there.
