i dont't have any user name to retrieve the record id from the database, bcoz i just want the record id generate by the database which is known as auto number.<BR>could kindly please give me another solution, Thanks!!!!!
...and I know that becuz I wrote it.<BR><BR>The "userName" field in there has *NOTHING* to do with getting the id of the just-added record! It was in there strictly for illustration purposes.<BR><BR>Go read the code again. And again and again, if need be, until you understand what it is doing.<BR><BR>The procedure really *is* quite simple, if you just follow the "cookbook" rules there.<BR><BR>
