what changes do I have to make when i convert an Access 97 database to Access 2000?
I now get:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039 80004005&#039

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 97 Driver] Can&#039t open database &#039(unknown)&#039. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.

do i have to resetup the DSN?

do i have to have office 2000 installed on the server?

cheers,
Adrian

Make sure the server has the latest install of MSDAC. Access 2000 uses a new version of JET, and if the MSDAC installed doesn&#039t recognize this new Jet format, it won&#039t work properly.

    Also in ODBC administrator:
It says &#039To install the new drivers, use the driver&#039s setup program&#039
Right, I have no idea where that program is.
Can I just copy over the old driver? Or do I have to install office 2000 on the server?
I imagine they are included in the MSDAC distribution, but check in case...
