Default control disabling in NN

    How can i disable controls (like select boxes or text boxes) based on user actions in Netscape? I can use the disable property and it works in IE but not in NN.
Thanx in advance.

    If you wanted them to be out of the way completely you could use the .visibility = "hide" property in NN. If you wanted them visible but unchangable you could use something along the lines of:

<input type = "text" onFocus = "blur()">

I think that ought to make them read only. BUT, I'm not sure if NN will let you change the attribute through javascript (I don't have it installed so I can't find out) meaning you can't dynamically disable it.

Hope someone proves me wrong though,

-Dan Evans
